You're kidding, right, deeeight? Very little perceptible difference between Acera and XTR! When was the last time you used it? There's a huge difference, otherwise why would you say you use XT or Ultegra, if lower end Shimano will do?! The difference in feel is less and less between the higher end groupsets, but generally, the higher you go, the lighter and slicker it gets. Don't believe me? Try a 2300 groupset and then try Dura-Ace. Saracen full suspension bikes feel super planted, but I can't get out of my mind that it still uses Norglide Bushes on it pivots (except the main pivot), as is spoils its longevity, IMHO. They aren't much to replace, but neither are cartridge bearings. Good bikes, but I can't use the word great just yet.

I'm a really big fan of the Bontrager's Preset Torque Wrench. IF you have 4mm Allen bolts on your bike that need special care, then these are great. The bike shop in which I work, all 4 mechanics have one. So easy to use and actually very good value! Most manufacturers use 4mm for their stem and bolted seat clamps anyway - except Thomson with their 3mm bolts (bad idea!!).
