Begrudgingly selling my Canyon strive. It's been a great bike for me but I'm just not enjoying riding as much as I used to and need the money for other things (mainly 4 wheeled things that need petrol and insurance). It's a wonderful bike to ride and I will be genuinely sad to see it go. Not a lot is stock on this build. It comes with a modefixer pro fitted but I will supply all the parts to put a shapeshifter back on at buyers request. I personally was willing to sacrifice a bit of climbing ability for one less remote and cable. This bike has had every hack under the sun to pull that last bit of performance out of it. The chainstay has been wrapped in an inner tube then covered in shrink wrap for a cleaner finish than electrical tape. There is mastic tape on the inside of the seat stay because in 2 of the gears the chain could hit it under full compression. The rear brake and reverb hose have been routed through shrink wrap to remove cable rattle. There are no cable ties on the bike because locking wire looks cleaner. Unlike most product managers I know that a shifter is more important to shift quality than a derailleur so an XTR shifter is mated to an XT mech, also a nice touch for when a rear mech meets a rock and needs replacing. I've used the best cables on the market so the gears are that little bit smoother. This bike means a lot too me and in an ideal world I would keep it for its sentimental value. Serious offers only. Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions, a phone call will give you the fastest answer but I do check pinkbike quite a lot too.
