Social Round Up: First Hits at DarkFest
This is the first time I'm actually following such an event closely. How come? Why, thanks to Sam Reynolds' Youtube channel!
Really enjoyable so far! Also, thanks for the roundup PB.
One thing I'd love to get some info on is the speeds with which the riders approach sections like that giant step-up. Looks absolutely eye-watering.

First Ride: 2022 Specialized Kenevo SL - The Electric Enduro
Seems like the perfect choice for the person who keeps riding with their much fitter friends. More like a cheat mode for regular mountain biking than riding an almost-motorbike.

Bike Check: Raphaela Richter & Tanja Naber Form Juliana Free Agents EWS Team
So both are running 140 in the back, 170 in the front? Interesting to see such a big gap there, when the standard Maverick comes as 140/150. What's the reasoning behind this?
Edit: Just saw that there is no 29er Juliana with more than 140 mm rear travel. Guess that answers my question.

Video: Friday Fails #165
@Icehawk: Funny, exactly that video is what made me realize the possible cause.
Was just curious if there was any additional explanation or more input.

Video: Friday Fails #165
Okay guys, gonna try something unusual here and ask for advice, as it does seem relevant for today's fails: What can you do to prevent jumping nose-heavy or getting kicked from the back suspension?
Examples: Kid at 0:40 or dude at 1:05.
Too fast rebound aside, I've heard the problem might be the center of mass being too far backwards, messing with the preload? It happens to me all the time, would appreciate some help.

Staff Ride: Brian's '10 Year' RAAW Madonna V2 Project Bike
I've actually listened to the Pinkbike podcast often enough to read the article in Brian's voice.
Anyway, really nice bike, looks beautiful and seems very well put together.

2020 Pinkbike Awards: Video of the Year Winner
One thing the nominations have taught me is that I seem to prefer raw series with minimal editing (raw 100, sound of speed).
Regardless, every single nominated video was really, really good. Hats off to anyone involved in producing so much high-quality entertainment for us.
