Win a Trip to the Michelin Tire Launch in Santa Barbara
Because medical students deserve breaks too and I haven't ridden Michelin tires since the great divide in 2000.

Airborne Titanium Lucky Strike with Rohloff Hub

$1400 USD
Size: Large (18") Year: 2000 Brand: Airborne Model: Lucky Strike Color: Raw titanium This a bike that was originally for cross country and then morphed into a fantastic touring bike especially with the Rohloff Hub. The hub itself has about 2,000 miles on it and has a new stabilizer arm that Rohloff replaced 5 years ago. I was told by the US-based Rohloff distributor Cycle Monkey that it would cost about $500 to upgrade the hub to be disc compatible. (the frame itself does not have disc mounts) I was planning to put drop bars on this bike for long gravel road tours, but it is just a bit to small for me now. My hope is that whoever purchases this bike will have many miles of dirt touring ahead of them. Fork: Marzoochi Bomber Front Wheel: Deore XT with Maxic Xmax (v-brake rim) Rear Wheel: Rohloff 14 speed hub with Mavic Xmax (v-brake rim) Brakes: Avid V-brakes Shifter: Rohloff proprietary shifter Headset: Chris King Stem and Handlebars: Raceface Crankset: 2004 Shimano Saint Seat/seatpost: likely WTB, but need to switch off another bike. (I'll be keeping the selle italia seat in the photos) Thanks for looking. Let me know if you're interested. *also willing to sell the Rohloff hub/wheel separate if interested. $800 for wheel with shifter
