Opinion: Why Is Everyone Talking About Seat Tube Angles?
The other thing you must factor in with this conversation about fit is dynamic sag-this also changes the SA angles-both actual and effective. Makes the Shockwiz super useful for a full suspension fit... Before I'll ever do a performance fit on a full suspension bike for a customer I send them out with the shockwiz for a week so we can get the dynamic sag numbers and use that to set up the bike appropriately. I was stoked when I realized that possibility.

WaveCel - Bontrager's New Concussion-Preventing Helmet Technology
@daugherd: don’t remember for sure but a large blaze (the mountain bike helmet) is somewhere in the ballpark of 450 grams. Lighter than my mips helmet by just a bit

Field Test: Trek Remedy 9.9
@CavemanGypsy72: You're absolutely right and that's exactly what I meant. Either way, speaking from experience when I say that the 210 x 55 DPX2 works wonders on the Fuel EX and the 230 x 60 X2 works equally well on the Slash.

Field Test: Trek Remedy 9.9
@jarrod801: It is running a 230 x 57.5 shock so 2.5 mm different than what most companies offer, though Fox, Rockshox, CaneCreek, Formula, and pretty much all the other big guys are offering multiple options for the Trek OEM spacing. I've also seen people successfully run that 2.5 mm longer eye to eye on Trek's full suspension bikes.

Photo Epic: WHISTMAS - Whistler Bike Park Opening Weekend
This would be an awesome write up to see at the end of the season. Single crown bikes have surely become more popular at locations like this as the bikes have become more capable and it would be interesting to see that data for sure!

Review: MRP Ribbon Coil Fork
Push makes a coil conversion thats a very fair price and you simply won't find better suspension products than Push Industries.

First Ride: Pivot's New Trail 429
@xeren: I was half way being facetious with that previous statement... I did a thesis in school on the economics of public land and outdoor recreation industries and totally agree with you. Just trying to stir the pot with some fellow pinkbikers and [just maybe] point out that overall the bike industry may have slowed in its progress of actual game changing innovation, but innovation is still a good thing even if it renders a bike "obsolete".
