Final Results from the Fort William DH World Cup 2022
Yes! Want more Elliot. Rob and Claudio is such a stale combo, having new voices in the booth with more recent race experience had been so good. Elliot is a breath of fresh air that's sorely needed.

Industry Digest: Tektro Electronic Shifting, Battery Recycling, Stem Lawsuits & More
@Balgaroth: In spite of my lack of sympathy, she's not wrong. They should torque the stem from the factory for direct sales. It's just this is the sort of outcome our crappy economic mode is destined to result in.

@bok-CZ: Yeah that lost wages number is the one I keep coming back to here. Coulda walked into a shop and left with a sick e-bike, professionally assembled, but no! in classic fashion she still has to be cheap as possible.

Cane Creek Kitsuma Air Shock 210x52.5 New

$500 USD
For sale is a new, never ridden Cane Creek Kitsuma Air shock with 210mm eye-to-eye and 52.5mm stroke. Shock was installed for about 5 minutes for a frame clearance check, which it unfortunately failed, so this one's a classic my loss your gain scenario. Too bad, I was really looking forward to riding this shock as I've had great performance from Cane Creek shocks in the past. Ships in original packaging with everything it came to me with.

RockShox Pike Ultimate 140mm 29"

$500 USD
Up for sale is a 2020 RockShox Pike Ultimate with 140mm travel and 51mm offset. Steerer tube length is 7-1/8". It has a C1 airspring, and if you want I can include a spare 160mm C1 spring I have on hand as well. Maxle stealth included. It has brand new Maxima Plush in the lowers and fresh grease on the air spring seals and things are in great shape. Fork has been regularly maintained and performed amazingly the whole time I've had it, only selling because I swapped frames and the steerer is a bit too short (XL frame, this fork will fit a vast majority of head tubes). The fork has a few scuffs on the lowers and drive side decal that you can see in the photos, and more notably three pinprick-like defects on the back of the NDS stanchion, also pictured, which are the result of a 0mph tip over when the bike was leaned up on a trailside rock when the fork was practically new. They've never degraded the fork's performance and I've never noticed the bath oil on that side being more dirty during lower services, so I never felt like a replacement CSU was at all necessary.

5 Things We Learned from Red Bull Rampage 2021
@taijidave: Yeah, it really has to be done by organizers. The incentives for athletes to take it this far are clearly too strong for athlete walkouts to keep rampage from being the top tier prestige event that it is. I have no doubt there are some riders out there who might get the tap but decline because they are willing to draw that line for themselves, and good for them, but you gotta reflect on what we learned from the salary surveys PB did this year: unless you're on the very top, you're not really earning money, and they've all come way too far and risked & sacrificed so much to not be inclined to take that chance.

5 Things We Learned from Red Bull Rampage 2021
@chakaping: Yeah, seeing this conversation get neglected by media pretty wholesale, especially in an article with this title, was very disappointing. At one point they almost started talking about the body count in the comment booth in a reflective manner that went beyond the start list implications, and it got shut down quick. I have no doubt a promoter was in an ear piece screaming no. It was all the more painful knowing that all these people are friends and are clearly genuinely terrified for each other.
