Interbike Cancelled for 2019
I notice all of that is about reno's location, and nothing to do with Reno itself......

Field Test: Trek Remedy 9.9
It's a bottom-out test... the tire is expected to deform on an impact like that..

I definitely agree. It is great to see some of the most popular new bikes being put up against each other! Love the content. I don't understand much of the criticism that PB reviewers get..

Pinkbike Poll: How Much Does a Bike's Climbing Performance Matter to You?
Honestly, a couple reasons. First, I often feel I don't need it. I'm on a 2018 stumpy and it feels great on the ups. Second, i don't often climb fire roads. I usually climb trails that have plenty of obstacles where the increased rear traction from the suspension working is helpful.

Pinkbike Poll: How Much Does a Bike's Climbing Performance Matter to You?
I think the question is getting at the qualities of a bike that do directly impact how efficiently a bike climbs. If you put the same effort into pushing, say, a Capra, because that has been brought up in this thread, as you do a Scott Spark or something similar, you'll go much faster on the Spark on the ascents, though much faster on the descents with the Capra. The question is asking how much you care about those qualities, which often inherently impact the bike's performance on the way down.

Field Test: Santa Cruz Bronson
Care to elaborate? Also, I think a downhill bike is much more simple to evaluate than an enduro bike. Enduro bikes have to be efficient and still be 80%+ what a downhill bike is on the descents. I think they have done a fine job here. Also, just be thankful for the content. If you are so upset over free journalism, why are you even on pinkbike?

Cross-Country World Cups Were Viewed by More People Than Downhill for the First Time in 2018
@Skarhead89: It is just about what people like to do best. Some people prefer to winch themselves to the top on a fire road or something similar, and then tear down the mountain on 80% of a downhill bike. Not difficult to understand, just maybe different from your perspective.

@NYShred: That's just this model, with all the goodies on it. You can get them a lot cheaper. Also: if you're looking at Santa Cruz for a super budget bike, then you're going to be sorely disappointed.
