I like fat Carbon and I can not lie
You other riders can't deny
That when a guy walks in with an itty bitty legs
And a big motor in your face
You get sprung, want to pull up tough
'Cause you notice those batteries was stuffed
Deep in the carbon he's hiding
I'm hooked and I can't stop staring
Oh baby, I want to ride wit'cha
And insta our picture
My sponsors tried to warn me
But with that bike you got makes (me so horny)…

Can we please boycott these types of comments? Please??
  • 9 2
@stumphumper92: why? They're funny as hell and clever.
  • 11 3
@stumphumper92: There is a filter for E bike posts, and clearly you are no fun. Use it.
  • 5 1
@stumphumper92: maybe we should boycott those who hump stumps...ha

Clever use of the black background to make this monstrosity look slightly thinner than it is.
  • 3 0
Yep, but they aint foolin us!

There’s nothing they can do to make shit E-bikes appealing— buy an actual motorcycle— this isn’t mountain biking—
  • 4 1
Except for the very first photo with a white background I suppose!
  • 2 2
The Thinner version of this bike is called Rocky Mountain slayer. And it's monstrously ugly as well
  • 25 5
Pinkbike commenters: That new Ibis Mojo is ugly AF
Radon: hold my beer.
  • 9 11
 U mad bro?
  • 7 1
 @mokydot: Nah, U mad though!
  • 1 1
I don't think this is ugly at all. The cross piece on this looks far better than the Mojo's, imo.
  • 3 3
Yeah... Almost ugly as the broken Rocky Mountain Slayer
  • 19 4
According to the comments I'm the only one who actually thinks this bike looks great...
  • 4 2
Me too. But prices are crazy. My last bike in my life will probably be electric. I hope they will become cheaper by that time. Those look great.

 @Coppermine:

At 5499.99 euro for the 10.0 HD, that is a fantastic price. I don't know of a single other ebike on the market that has the same spec for the same price.

 @Ryan2949:
Cube Hybrid stereo 160 actionteam
  • 3 0
Apart from that bit going from to down tube to the top tube I thought it was a good looking bike.
  • 4 0
My next bike will be an enduro e-bike. There are no shuttles where I normally pedal, I don't really like to loose all my breath going up, and I don't like to take my time to go up either. I'm just a tired stupid monkey at the top. Another advantage of e-bike is the use of sturdier drivetrains, like the advent 9 speed or XT 10 speed. Cheaper and sturdier. My only problem today is with range. My weekends usualy goes from 50km to 90km of fireroads and trails.

 @lightone:
Cube is aluminum, has EX1 drivetrain, aluminum crankset, FIT4 damper
Radon is carbon, has X01 AXS drivetrain, carbon crankset, Grip2 damper, wheels have DT 240 hubs

Radon is still a much better purchase.

The Cube is also not as good looking (to me).
  • 1 0
@Ryan2949: The price for the 10HD is 6.499€! See details atop. It's wrong below the photo.
  • 1 0
@yoobee: awe, my mistake! Thanks for pointing that out!
  • 7 3
It is very hard to make an ebike look good. most just don't. They usually look pregnant and bloated. Couple nice looking one ones out there, but this isn't one of them. But those prices are very pretty.
  • 1 0
Nox have managed to do well I reckon. The new antidote could pull off a fazua kit, and the orange ones looks ok.
  • 2 0
@sethius: hadn't seen those before but yeah they're ok. I think the Pivot Shuttle and BMC ebikes look pretty good. I really don't care as long as they ride well, personally
  • 1 0
@trialsracer: Yeah I would still ride one if it rode well. I went with the Turbo Levo Comp, which I thought was a nice looking ebike. I like it when they don't try and make it look super futuristic.
  • 3 0
I think its time for Klein to step back into the market, those fat tubes were ahead of their time just waiting for a battery.
  • 5 0
Are those real pictures of the bike, or just a render of them?
  • 6 1
The tyres are cool, you can keep the rest
  • 5 0
I read all the comments, but none of them were render neutral.
  • 1 0
I don't get it. Why they don't take advantage of the E- part of the bike and put advent 9s or XT 10s on the cheaper builds to drive the prices even lower? Even in my 27 I'm using a 34 chainring, on a E-bike I would use a 38 with a 50 at the back. It's like a rock crawler with a Baja truck engine.
  • 5 1
 Render your legs useless.
  • 1 0
9/10 would ride. Looks pretty cool. Some Nice surface modelling, hard edges, soft curves, just enough to look like a X-wing Enduro but not completely.

In Cape Town CBD it would be rad to rally!
  • 7 4
the 9.0 is one of the uglier bikes I've seen recently
  • 4 3
I don't care how it looks; However, I would like to know how much power it has, and what is it's top speed with pedal assist?
  • 5 0
@abzillah: top speed with pedal assist is ALWAYS limited to 32km/h in Canada, 25?km/h in EU, and 45km/h in USA. Top speed is an awful way to judge an e-bike, they're all going to be exactly the same.
  • 1 0
Yes, but the 10.0 is beautiful. E-bike or not, that's just a nice looking bike. I keep looking back at it to make sure I'm not losing my mind, but I actually really like it.
  • 3 0
Man that price beats a lot of competitors
  • 3 0
Missed opportunity: It could have been the Reindeer - Christmas Edition.
  • 3 0
No way bro, just walk away
  • 1 0
How do I turn on the E-bike content filter? I've been browsing through my profile options and I have yet to find the option.
  • 1 0
is there a european vendor that will ship eBikes to the USA?
  • 1 0
Not to be picky, but it's Bosch
  • 1 0
Please elaborate....only asking cuz I'm ignorant. Are bosch no good??
  • 1 0
Ah no sorry, I meant the spelling mistake in the article I'm sure bosch batteries are just fine
  • 2 0
The new Bosch Gen 4 is suppose to be pretty sweet.
  • 1 0
@nordland071285: ahhh hahah totally right over my head.
  • 2 0
@kanter: What I don't get is why bikes with the new bosch-motor still have those long chainstays. The motor got smaller but still most bikes sport 450mm to 470mm chainstays. Is this because of the 29er-wheels? But normal bikes without a motor usually have shorter ones...
  • 1 0
 @Trudeez: I'd never buy a Bosch as they aren't derestrictable. 25 kph is a no-go.
  • 1 0
@yoobee: Cant you just move the sensor and the magnet further out the wheels to get a little better speed?
  • 2 0
@kanter: This is a simple trick that does not work anymore on Shimano, too.
The new Bosch software is way more "smart". And if it detects any manipulation for the third time you have to visit your friendly dealer... Cry
  • 1 0
2.4 skin wall tyres. Had to be done didn't it
  • 1 1
I think that looks really good, one of the better looking e-bikes I've seen with a great spec and relatively OK price...
  • 1 0
 I thought it said Reindeer.
  • 1 0
The frame looks like it got bit by a mosquito.
  • 1 0
XL geometry is more like an L...
  • 1 0
 Render? Never met her.
