Mike Hopkins - Day in the Life
Aug 27, 2010 at 14:47
Mike lives a short distance away from me and I am fortunate to be able to film with him on a semi-regular basis. We put together this video to show a fairly average day in Mike's world to you.

A typical day for Mike.... he gets a new bike every day and then has to build it and ride it. Awesome, but must get a little boring after a while, I like to just ride my bike lol. Great video by the way, really enjoyed the way it was filmed and edited.

That was SofaKing good. BTW, my spirit guide foresees Steve Smith on the podium at Windham.

It's sick how fast Mike is. You watch the video and think, "Man is he fast" Then you ride with him and you think... "Man am I slow" HAHAHA
(Aug 28, 2010 at 18:11)
it would suck to be the guy on the right of the picture getting covered in dirt but at the same time cool because mike hopkins is flying past you

So much flow.

even hopkins is riding the saint rims... wonder when they will be dropping, would really like to get on a pair.
(Aug 27, 2010 at 19:48)
From what I understand they are not Saint Rims just Saint sticks to go on the SHIMANO riders wheel sets
(Aug 28, 2010 at 14:23)
To my understanding and from the wheelset that I received from Shimano last season, they are DT swiss rims with SAINT decals on them.

super sick rider, but didn't see much style in this vid.
(Aug 27, 2010 at 17:45)
Piloting a DH bike fast and smooth down rocky trails is a skill in itself....oh sorry no trix = no style I forgot that new rule. Mike is a shredder, with style. Got my full respect.
(Aug 28, 2010 at 6:52)
Agree. His style is destroying DH trails. Thats my style too, got a problem with that? Lol
(Aug 28, 2010 at 8:30)
i'd like to see a video of impacking187 do some riding with style...
(Aug 28, 2010 at 9:01)
Im sure it will dissapoint. The thing is, its just not cool to say ........."he has no style" ......its style, it one's own. If you have nothing nice to say........
