Video: Behind the Story - Kluszkowce, Making of the New Dartmoor Video

Beginning
In the middle of October we visited an interesting place in Poland called Joy Ride Bike Park. It is located in Kluszkowce in the Tatra Mountains, just above Czorsztyn lake. The group included Dartmoor Bike's test and team riders, trail builders from Dirt It More and ASF Studio's filming crew. Our goal was to shoot part of the material for the new video called 'Dartmoor: Inside Story'.


Passion
The idea for the film came from the fact that we wanted to tell the deeper story describing more than just riding a bike. There is so much more that makes Dartmoor what it is today and we want to show this in our project. We spent a lot of time discussing how to show the passion of the people who are behind things here.

Right now we are in the middle of the production and hopefully everything will go as we planned. We hope to surprise you with a thing or two when the video is ready, because it is all about the people ... and their passions.



Filming
When we arrived, we were a bit concerned about the weather because it was rainy and foggy. Luckily, it got better and we were able to take our gear to the spot designed and built by our friends from Dirt It More and start shooting. Filming in the mountains is always a bit more demanding because you often need to carry all the equipment up and down the hill. But it's worth it when you see the final result on the screen.

One of the ideas behind this part of the movie was to show the actionn from a different point of view. That is why we took the guys who usually ride on the local DJ or parks in the big cities and introduced them to the freeride trail in the mountains which had some slopestyle and dirt jump sections.

Overall it was a successful experience and we came back with a fair number of gigabytes of quality material and feeling that we spent a great time with our friends.
