Walmart Launches High-End 'Viathon' Bike Brand
@CircusMaximus: So true. I ride bikes that are 10 to 30 years old. Expensive bikes and bobbles are for 2 types of riders. Those dumb enough to think they can buy talent and speed at a bike shop and those who cant impress anyone with their riding so they think they can do ot with bijes and bling.

5 More Hardtails with Extreme Geometry
Oh gawd, go find yourself a beautiful older hard tail 26r for pennies on the dollar. Fuck modern geometry. If you want to go old school go real old school. If you have skills you can ride anything well. Throw a few modern pieces on it and bob's your uncle. Super light, super nimble, super value, super fun. Everything old is new again, simpler bikes, less expensive bikes. But... I'm sure the experts are going to tell me how wrong I am and how necessary modern geometry is. Bovine Excrement. find a nice old hard tail. Fix it up and be amazed how much you don't need a stupidly over priced bike to have fun and ride well on your favorite trails. So much the better if you have or end up restoring or rebuilding some tight old school tech trails. A sadly lost art amongst the glitter and glamour of newer more expensive is better.

Video: SRAM's Wireless Eagle AXS Drivetrain Explained
Glad to see Sram dropping Shima-who? again. Staying relevant while their bloated counter part Shimano stuggles to stay relevant with a 7 year old hub that they cant get to work and more new standards while the market and all their competitors are currently focused on simplifying standards and compatibility.

Terrapin, that would be Sram, Sunrace, MicroShift and Ztto. Companies who understand everything Shima-who? doesnt about what the market wants now not 7 years ago.
