2017 Fontana KMC Winter Series, Round 5
Samantha is definitely not the only woman to represent the USA at Jr. World Champs. There have been many over the years... Most notably Kathy Pruit who came home with gold quite a few years back.

Andes Pacifico Enduro 2017: The Final Day
To be honest that's the draw for the majority of the people that enter. Multi-day adventure style races like this are about the experience and meeting g people from around the world. It's not about the racing, it's about hanging and risk g with your friends while making new ones.

Andes Pacifico Enduro 2017: The Final Day
@Nairnster: perhaps you are referring to press releases from the organizers of the race. But I can assure you the PB staff covering the race did not remove photos from our articles. Nor did myself or Sam Needham shoot the photo you are referring too. Perhaps you saw it on a different site or shared on FB from somewhere other than Pinkbike? There was a lot of content coming out from this race from various outlets.

Andes Pacifico Enduro 2017: The Final Day
@aliikane: some of the bigger elevation gain were done by 4x4 in the Andes due to the distance and rugged terrain. I don't have the exact stats but I'd say it was probably a 50/50 split between uplifts and climbing.

Andes Pacifico Enduro 2017: The Final Day
@Nairnster: I wrote, built, and posted these articles... They have not been changed and no photos have been removed. Neil's photo and mentions. The captions are still right there where they started. Glad you are interested in how your countryman has been doing. There are lots of Brits on this site and that's why we made sure to make Neil part of our coverage in each post... Just triple checked and all his photos are still there and in plain sight in each of the 4 reports created.

Andes Pacifico Enduro 2017: The Final Day
Not sure why you keep posting in different articles about photos of Neil getting removed. The Pinkbike crew create 4 photo stories from the Andes Pacific and all of them feature Neil in both photos and mentions. All of which are still right on the page as they appeared from the start.

Hahaha yeah that's a slip of the finger on the old keyboard. 13,000 Meters is a bit more accurate.
