At 40 mountain biking has become a huge part of my life. I have seen some of the most amazing places and met so many amazing people because of it. I really just got into mountain biking summer of 2010 thanks to the suggestion of my son Gage. We ride now every chance we get, even working on trails and a track on our farm. I love the outdoors and bikes. Over this past year I have begun to participate in Enduro races. I have to say that it has to be one of the best formats in mountain bike racing. Racing has now pushed me to want not only to have fun, but now be competitive. I have begun training harder in the gym and riding road to improve my fitness. My son and I participate in the Texas Enduro Series, Kodiak Tough Series, and try to go to at least one of the Scott Enduro races. Mountain biking has changed my life, much for the better in so many ways.
