Hidden Treasures From the 'For Sale' Fence at Sea Otter 2024
That Norco Optic seemed like up for grabs... the way it was chained to the fence.

Review: Race Face's Era Chainring Uses Steel, Carbon, & Aluminum
"Cons: - Cinch-mount-only limits crank options". But hey, the cinch-mount doubles the life span of a chainring. When it gets worn out, you simply rotate it by 90 degrees and you have a "new" ring. Shimano and Sram can't do that...

Revonte and Pässilä Bicycles Unveil A Titanium eMTB Prototype
Go Revonte! That's some real progress and innovation! It took a while to launch their product in the (e)MTB segment and I hope this will make the big ones worry (and that Revonte will not be swallowed by the likes of bosch, shimano, yamaha... that tend to keep in their comfort zones of "innovation").

First Look: Orange Stage 6 Evo
What exactly is the innovation here that counterbalances the price tag? I admit Orange has a fancy and desirable brand (I wouldn't mind owning their bike)... but how is the new bike different/improved from the previous version? Perhaps I can simply answer this question to myself: the market is hungry for new bikes, supply is scarce, and Orange knows exactly which moves to make. It's just business and there's nothing to complain about, really.

First Look: Lal Bikes' Supre Drivetrain Splits The Derailleur In Half Before It Happens On the Trail
Yes! This is innovation! A simple, yet hard-worked-on improvement! I hope this will at least somewhat disrupt the industry and cause some stir among the big players. Go Cedric!!!

Litespeed Release Pinhoti III Titanium Trail Bike - Pond Beaver 2021
It's a beautiful bike! But why are fork length and optimized travel specified in mm when everything else is in inches? Metric units really, really suck, and are difficult to convert and understand. Please stop using metric!
