The riding is super rad, but no amount of sketchy edit gimmicks will save this video from the awful video work (that hand-plant shot excepted). Deity productions tend to look much better than this.
do you watch a lot of bmx edits? the video quality and camera work is usually pretty shitty at best, but the spectacular riding is the thing that shines through, I think that might be what Adam was kind of going for. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKbDPUKnVWU decent example, shitty camera work with crazy awesome riding
I watch a few, and they're often beautifully shot. But moreover, I always look forward to Deity videos, because they tend to have great production value along with the great riding.
O NOES! THIS WASN'T A 4K MINDSPARK/ANTHILL COLLABO WITH SUPER SLOW MO ROOSTY BRO BRAHS MAKING FRENCH PRESS COFFEE FOR 2 MINUTES BEFORE THEY START RIDING. CAN'T WATCH!
Deity is punk rock and the video matches that vibe. The bass line in the song is enough for me to add this to my faves. Thanks Deity for keeping it real!
yah the filming style fit the music fit the rider and gave a great 'feel' that i could recognize and identify with. On one hand it wasn't great video work, on the other it was perfect.
Maybe the video isn't as good of an edit as some others...? I like the style reminds me of 90's raw skateboard videos. The riding is very impressive and the old school music added to the vibe I picked up from it!
I know, I kept waiting for it and it never happened. I was also thinking...is he gonna huck it to flat on that DJ bike? Does he know it doesn't have rear suspension? If its as big as I'm anticipating that's gonna hurt.
Other than that, I couldn't believe what I was watching...awesome riding!
Two years ago I wore a shirt that said "Hauck it to flat" on it to a dirt jump contest that Hauck was competing in. No joke that's where it came from. www.pinkbike.com/photo/10955436
Amazing video again Adam! What makes his riding unique to me are the small but super stylish and at the same time very hard tricks he pulls in there, like that motowhip-skid in the quarter, that super low wallride, that super smooth fast and far pedalgrind, etc, etc. Steezing it!
Holy shit Hauck, that's some mean MEAN ridin' right there. Those tobogs, super deep cans & bunny truckin' to fakie on a full size mang?! You own that ride like Dak Roche or some shit. You should team up with Duffy. Get some serious shit done. We need more of this!
To reiterate, the riding was sick.
This edit was way too good to end with that.
Other than that, I couldn't believe what I was watching...awesome riding!
Bunny truck to fakie = GOD mode!
