Jun 26, 2023Trek Madone 5.2, Campy Chorus 11, Power meter
$875 CADThis was to be my backup bike but I only ended up riding it a few times.
I took my original Trek Madone 5.2 Carbon frame and did a complete upgrade (using new parts) to the whole bike:
Campy Chorus11 Carbon Groupset with 50/34 chainring and 11-29 Cassette (excellent balance of climbing and speed), fresh Campy chain
CycleOps Wheels with Carbon Spindles, Bontrager R3TLR 700x24 tires (R3 light case hard tire - excellent puncture resistance) - new
CycleOps Carbon Hub Power Meter
Zipp SS Short & Shallow Service Course Handlebars (will apply new white grip tape before delivery)
Speed Play Zero Peddles
2 Zipp light weight bottle holders
This $2000+ of new parts on a nice frame - crisp shifting, light weight, comfortable
This is a 'medium' frame - I am 5'10' with a 30" leg in-seem, my son is 6' and comfortably rides this bike but it requires the seat to be moved back a bit for him.

Aug 15, 2018Rocky Mountain ETSX-70, 18", As New
$650 CADThis is a very special bike - a light weight aluminum frame (the whole bike weighs in at 27lbs w/o accessories) that is natural aluminum with a clear-coat applied - Built in Canada, and it has simply not been used since purchased new - other than a few trails around UBC and over in Parksville - no racing, no downhill, no hard riding. The bike is beautiful and clean and very pretty. I am a road cyclist since 2007 so have simply let this bike sit indoors and get looked at - really! It comes with spare brake pads, brake line fluid, some Rocky tools for the bike - and currently has Kenda 8-block tires for all-round cycling use.

May 19, 2011Rocky Mountain Trailhead, 14.5" frame, very low miles
$350 CADI bought this bike new from West Point Cycles for my son in early 2007 but he quickly outgrew it after riding it around the neighborhood and taking into the UBC woods a few times. It has remained in storage for the past 3 years. The bike is in very good condition and is mechanically perfect with only a few normal cosmetic wear marks.
