The third and final stop of the Big Mountain Enduro series brought racers to Winter Park and the Trestle Bike Park. After two days and six stages racers battled their way to the podium. Richie Rude continued his dominance in the Pro Men's field while Anne Galyean practically walked away with the win in the Pro Women's field. With the completion of the final stop, the series overall leaders were named for all categories.

I think it has better internals. It's just so people know you paid more for your fork.

I love how Graves can not show up for a race, and still claim 3rd overall.

Since Graves wasn't there, the kid should get to keep the $900...

There are 4 total races in the Big Mountain Enduro series, the BME takes your best 3 races for the overall.

The Crested Butte stop was not part of the overall for the series as it was the EWS.

Way to go, Dr. Anne. It's Bill from Mizzou Bioengineering/Chemical Engineering. I hope your defense went well (and I bet it was a slam dunk, hence the appellation). Congratulations on all of your recent accomplishments.

Indeed! Thanks, Bill. I just started my postdoc today.

I heard they may put in more trails next year. Apparently the FS won't let them add more mileage, so they have to "remove" some XC mileage before adding new DH runs.

I heard this too... Hope it's true, had some excellent days at Trestle this year. Hoping to get one more closing weekend.

Anyone know which trails they ran? I recognize some, but obviously some I have not ridden yet (and have 3 weekends left to ride them).

Most of the pictures seem to be from Rainmaker/Boulevard/Bear Arms. However they raced all over the place, I was up there on Friday and Most all of the mountain was closed because it was taped up for race runs.

Thanks. I have yet to ride upper boulevard or bear arms. I have also avoided Trestle DH for this is my second season and have enough fun on the less technical trails for now. And glad I decided to lay off the DH for this weekend. I was not aware the BME was happening and would have found out when I arrived.
