The Four-Year Story of Fin Woods' DIY Carbon Enduro Gearbox Bike
Yo bros here comes my usual neg but truthful banter. Chains and mech are here to stay... unless your name is Gwin. Not even top NASA engineers can figure out reliable lightweight affordable drive system for bicycles. Sram jumped in and said all you need is 12 speed/dub. Well, Sram you can really suck it for delivering a bunch of new standards, new lies, 12 speed, Dub, and more shitty honky brakes. Trust me, the new Totum is gonna be another cool looking, leaky POS just like the original don't get yer hopes up. Sram engineers have been failing hard for decades now and you still buy into it? Remember yesterday when Pike was so good at first, but soon after we can't even give this junk away. And what happened to Zerode, can you imagine trying to find service for that gear box on yer outdated $12,000 build bloody tragic . A brand new chain is $30 every 4 months.

Field Trip: Is Buying a Used Mountain Bike Worth It?
Sorry guys, this is really poor advise. Except for maybe the bring it to a shop part, if you know nothing about good bikes/ Rule #1 Never buy used $2000+ especially If it's 2 years or older. It's usually going to need a new drive train, new bearings, new brakes, and no warranty. That's about $1500 shop time. Rule #2 Never buy used. Buy a new frame set only, and build your own dream machine. That means you can eliminate the Sram garbage all together, for a much more enjoyable ride.

Video: A Classic Squamish Slabs Lap With Remy Metailler
Awesome! These tracks are some of my go to when it's dry, but are extremely high risk ever for pro. Just remember, going to the hospital right now is more dangerous than drinking water from the Ganges.

MicroSHIFT's New 10-Speed Advent X Drivetrain is Only $167 - Pond Beaver 2020 (Updated with Video)
I run 11 speed 1 X 11-46 but lockout the small 11 cog with derailleur screw adjust. It's now a 10 speed. Then I move the crank/chainring all the way in to get better chainline for grindy climbing. Poor chainline featured on all these new 12 speeds just slaughters your drivetrain. Of course this is all part of the big plan, to keep you buying new shit for new standards/
