Loosefest 2017 Highlights Insanity - Video
I remember that place without the bikepark. A national Dh championships about fifteen years ago. A grassy field, some tape to mark a course, a few lips without a landing... the sport has evolved!

Pinkbike Poll: Is the DH Bike Dead?
Ok, I've raced DH for a decade and now do more trailriding (or enduro style riding if you want to name it that way). I like both styles: studying your DH track minutely so you know every rock and root in it so you can pin it, or take the unkown route as it comes and try and go as fast as possible within the boundaries of staying in control. Fact is that DH tracks (at least the few in my country) are less steep and more groomed and littered with park style obstacles ( jumps, drops, wallrides) than enduro trails ( at least in my country), which are way more technical, steep and challenging. I shit my pants more riding trails and it takes bigger bals riding them blind. Plus you ride downhill speed with limited protection. I say with the trailbikes and enduro bikes of today, DH bikes are getting more and more redundant. Unless you want to look cool at the bikepark with fullfaces and neckbraces...

The Yak Attack Fatbike Challenge for Nepal
I hiked that trail! Took me 19 days to complete the Annapurna circuit. Plenty of time to acclimatise to the altitude, and yet it felt brutal. I can't imagine how hard it must be in just six days and a hike-a-bike up Thorung-La pass. Much respect!!!
