Video: Evil Bikes at the Wild 2024 TDS Enduro
My 4y old daughter was blowing bubbles at racers and today she asked me to hold a stick so she can "kick the can" on her push bike. Always a good time at the TDS playground :))

The Pinkbike Podcast: Is World Cup XC Actually Worth Watching?
100% yes! About paying ca. $200 per year: I would do it if the MTB World Cup and the riders would directly benefit from it. But in the US we have to pay for a package with US Football, Baseball and whatever, so you're basically paying for and supporting billion dollar sports that you don't care about and that's what bothers me. Luckily there's an option B and C to watch it anyway.

First Look: Fair Bicycle's Drop Best Offset Saddle Clamp is Universally Compatible
You're right, sometimes my dropper doesn't properly slide when I sit more towards the front end of the saddle. I'm also tired of those slack, miscalculated seat tube angles, it will put you way too far back, especially when you have a long inseam. I've seen WC riders turning a setback seat posts 180 deg. around to make up for it.

Gates is Offering a €100K "Belted Purse" Bounty for First World Cup DH Win on a Belt-Driven Bike
Does it still count if the belt rips at the first pedal stroke but the rider goes ahead and wins? Just asking for Aaron Gwin.

Pinkbike Poll: What's Your Favorite Type of Mountain Bike Racing?
Event participation numbers are quite the opposite of those answers here. Times have also changed, participating in a DH race isn't an option anymore for most of us that started in the 90's.

Highlights & Results from the Snowshoe XC Marathon World Cup 2023
@warmerdamj: 4h38min vs 5h46min The UCI marathon is still in a grey zone, it only states that it has to be between 60km and 160km. Usually racers expect a race winner time of 4h - 4h30 so the men's winner time is already pretty long. The Women's distance is usually about 80% of the Men's distance to stay in that same time frame. Racing for 6h takes a different preparation and eventually more support on track. The biggest disappointment for me is that they didn't include the amateurs into the World Cup. This would not affect the front of the race and more people would be motivated to race a real World Cup with the Pro's, rather than doing their own race called "Marathon of Snowshoe" with 25 Men (The Pro's had 33). Pro Women 9, Amateurs 4... Any other well known Marathon has 500-2000 starters...
