 Pure mountain biking. VTs videos are fantastic. My brain used to pigeon-hole anyone without gloves on trails like this as a rookie but Vinny had made me readjust.

 To me it's just the opposite. The guys without gloves on are the ones out there casually shredding and have the confidence to go without. It's the guys who are fully kitted in pads and a full face to tame blue downcountry trails that tend to come off looking like rookies.

 My hands sweat too much to ride without gloves. Ridden without gloves a lot, but grip never feels secure enough.

 @luckynugget: I don’t think that’s really fair tho. My buddy broke his neck back in March, just when we were on a regular trail ride. The only reason that he is alive right now is because he was wearing a full face.

 @peterfoley5: yeah I didn't see the full-face part of his comment. I don't f with half shells, full face only for me. I don't ride enduro/XC anyways but not into f*cking up my face just because I want to wear the half shell clone uniform.

what pisses me off is that people like this make this look soooooooo easy...so natural, so much talent. They get me so stoked. I can feel that flow and in my head I'm dialed. In reality I'm butchering it and crashing. Nothing to see here..move along. lol
