Rockshox 20mm peg-mod
Hey guys,
I've had lots of peeps asking me how to modify a rockshox fork to run pegs. Here are some step by step instructions. With pictures. 'Cuz pictures are rad.
But first, a disclaimer!
Neither I, nor my shop condone this modification at all. It is stupid. Pegs and mountain bikes were never supposed to go together. If you try this, you will probably die sad and alone. Just FYI.
First, assemble the necessary parts and tools!

Install the bushing.

slide 'dat axle in 'dere!

The marzocchi 20mm bolt goes in whatever end you don't want the peg.

...and then the peg goes on the other side, just as you'd normally install one! Yaay, pegs on mountain bikes!

Hey dudes, don't forget to remove your rebound adjuster knob, otherwise you'll smash it right off!

not that bad. you have to be prepared for your BB to drop a bit if you're dropping to smith. I've clipped my cranks at some inopportune times. Apart from that it's pretty rad!
