In a given compound.. as the temperature decreases, the density increases as the molecules become more closely packed. As density increases, the volume of the fluid would decrease, assuming the mass of the material remains constant. It would depend on the water content in the lines though, as water is the exception to this rule, and actually expands when it freezes due to its molecular structure.

Actually. It is. Its not a marin, and no one said anything about Kona. So your point is completly invalid. Also.. The problem people have with Kona is less about them being prone to breakage and more about the 12-18 young year old Kona riders (like yourself) that feel the need to talk shit about just about everything. This site is loaded with people like this. I challenge you to look around, if you see an ignorant comment on this site, the majority of the time it has been posted by some kid who rides a Kona. Also, in this case.. I can attest to the fact this bike was taken far beyond its limits. lol
