The time has come to part with my Specialized Big Hit. This bike has been mostly used by my girlfriend when riding Winter Park. We are only selling it because it is too heavy for her and and we don't go downhilling enough to justify having the bike around. The frame is a Big Hit1 size small. The original brakes were awful so they were replaced with the SLX brakes which also only have about 2 rides on them. It is with a heavy heart that I must part with my beloved Demo. This bike is one of the most fun I have ridden, but I just don't get up to the mountains enough to justify having it around. The bike is a Demo 7I size medium. Components: Sram X9 rear derailleur Sram X0 shift lever Avid Code brakes e.thirteen chain guide with Holzfeller cranks RockShox Totem fork Fox DHX 4.0 rear shock Cane Creek headset Azonic Outlaw rims that have been converted to tubeless. Both the fork and rear shock were sent to Push Industries. Being a DH bike there are a few scratches and rock dings but nothing severe. I am looking to get $1100 for the bike but am willing to negotiate over reasonable offers. As I said I love this bike and it's awesome for tearing down Winter Park or Keystone, unfortunately I just don't have the time to use it to its full capabilities. Looking to sell my Giant STP 2 to fund a new project. Bike is in decent condition with some scratches from being hauled around in my old car. Will need a new rear wheel and some work on the fork. Comes with Answer ProTaper bars, Holzfeller cranks, Surly Singleator, and Forte V-brakes. Good bike to get into DJ or Park without spending a ton of money.
