PRESS RELEASE: DVO Winter Gravity Series

This year's DVO Winter Gravity Series has seen hundreds of gravity racers coming from over 20 different states, 5 countries and spanning 3 continents! So far we have seen racers as young as 7 and as old as 62! Anyone within driving distance to Southern Nevada is very fortunate to have Bootleg Canyon in their region and will easily find the competition, party-like atmosphere and camaraderie they are seeking. We hope you will join in the fun on March 15-17, 2019.

Enduro Series standings HERE

We here at Bootleg Canyon Gravity Racing are always trying to mix up the courses. Therefore, the three Enduro Stages will be including the trails Diva, Inner Caldera (clockwise) and Lower G-String. Stage 1 will be Snakeback-Diva, Stage 2 Boyscout-Inner Caldera (clockwise) and stage 3 East Leg-Middle Lakeview- G-String. Stage 1 will very similar to last months DH racecourse.
* The 6-10 age bracket will not do stage 1.
* All racers will get a shuttle to Stage 1 and Stage 2 if they would like.

Dual Slalom
Last months new DS format went exactly as planned; fast, informal and super fun. Due to time constraints, we will continue with a maximum of 8 racers per category. If you plan in racing DS, we strongly encourage you sign up online while still available. The DS race is only $25 and must be combined with a full price race. It can be found in the merchandise section of online registration.

Downhill Series standings HERE

This year's DH course for the DVO Reaper will be on Reaper which has not always been the case. If you have not ridden on Reaper, expect to average around 30mph on top of open ridge lines for over 1 mile whilst sporting a huge smile the entire time. Many would say that we have saved the best for last. Please come and let us know if you agree.
