I got a hold of Evan for a quick film session in between his busy schedule filled with weight training, cardio sessions, on the bike training and social media presence. Despite his recent fame, he's always so humble and easy to work with.

The speed he was able to keep in those technical sections blew us away.

At least this features more riding than the entire first season of PB Academy!

Great video Evan. I really hope there is an EWS season this summer. Super proud it all became a reality at Bike Big White. You deserve the shot bro. Good luck!

The bike feels small to him ,but in a good way ,like he is on command of the bike not like I see in most of people like their are like almost a passenger and if something goes wrong they can’t correct, like this trend of more reach ,more top tube ,higher seat post angle (cause they can’t fit the bigger wheels without that )and starting to lower the seat tube height to a point that it is useless for bike control

Some serious pace there. I find this to be one of the most flat-tire prone trails in Squamish! Any flats during the shoot?!

If you run DH casing tires with cushcore, you'll find out that none of the trails are thaaaat "flat-tire prone." But you'll have a 37 lb trail bike—which is a plus or a minus depending if you're going uphill or down

@PeterWojnar: Wait one can ride without DH tires and CushCore?

Foreboding, underlying sound track. Love it.

That is the moving image of a rider and bike completely in tune with each other, and the trail a melody. Masterpiece bro!!
