Video: Southern Enduro Tour - Round 5

The years go by fast and the seasons feel like they go by even faster! It’s spring time in Northwest Arkansas and we have officially entered the final race week of the 2021 Southern Enduro Tour season… that’s loco!
The weekend of April 10 and 11 we hosted the fifth race of the series at the Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs, AR. It’s truly a special place to me for multiple reasons - I worked on-site helping build some of the trails with my good friend, Alex Scott, who now thrives in the trail building business with his company, Jagged Axe Trail Designs; and Eureka in general is also one of my favorite towns because of it’s mountain town vibe and rugged terrain. It also helps that there is now two world-class trail systems that include everything from scenic single-track to double black downhill runs. Which is exactly why it was the perfect fit as a new venue in the SET!

Redemption Enduro did not disappoint, everyone had a great time, stayed moderately safe and we are all thankful for getting back to racing bikes. The race would also not have been possible without Kent Butler at GPP for letting us bring our enduro circus to his magnificent property that is nestled into ecosystem that we like to call OZ Trails. This weekend we will be in Oklahoma for the final race that is the O’Rock Epic Enduro. Registration is open online at www.bikereg.com/orockenduro until Wednesday at 11:59PM CST. It is the final race of our series this year and then we’re headed out for more adventures, racing and anything else you can imagine mountain bikers getting themselves into.

The option to jump over the railing in front of the statue was the start of Stage 1 for the race.
