Just a little bit expensive. You could just buy a whole different shock for that price. Props to PB to putting that much work into an April fools joke. It made my day.
  • + 10
You would think it would be cheaper with all the mexican labor they are hiring, Perfect Mexican accent too, I could understand everything. And maricon means gay by the way, like the guys who made the add. Yeah, you get that for the cheap shot on Mexican labor Wink

Funny as; I guess it was intentional that the guy in the ad looked like stifler from american pie. Stiffy/stifler.... no?
  • + 1
This would be funnier if people hadn't ACTUALLY DONE THIS long ago during the birth of suspension back in the nineties. I don't recall if anyone marketed an official one, but it was thrown around as a great way to convert your bike for race day, and people would make custom ones, thinking they were ever so clever. I even remember some stupid ass magazine recommending it.
  • + 2
That's funny as well, because someone actually did that before too - a little company called Campagnolo, in about 1985, their first and last MTB group. I think it was called Euclid, and it had little QRs on everything in sight. Stem, bars, even under the seat, so you could slide the seat back for the downhills. It was the ultimate component group for the indecisive cyclist.

Sorry, this was the lamest product launch, we should have thought it through more. Now we are actually getting sued over it I would like to apologise for this and for everyone to forget about it please. dunbarcycles.pinkbike.com/blog/Dunbar-Cycles-and-Straitline-Sued-by-Elka-Suspension-for-patent-.html

No one knows this but Stevie lost his left nut in Monte St Anne. It is ironic how it cost him 1st place on the podium landing him in 2nd place. Pull his pants down at the pits at SeaOtter if you do not believe me.
