Norco Manifesto

$450 USD
I've been putting together a collection of cool old trials bikes over the years, and decided this weekend, that some of them have to go. So, let's start with this Norco Manifesto frame. Built and ridden once, then stripped for these photos. It was NOS when I got it. 11" seat tube. Will ship on your dime - I'm really good at packing!

Norco Optic Frame - Large

$850 USD
Selling my Optic frame. Carbon front triangle, Alloy rear w/ 125mm travel. (Sorry, PB doesn't have 125mm in the dropdown menu.) Mechanically sound - has had ride wrap since new, but a few paint chips here and there (visible in pics) Fox FLOAT rear shock. This frame won Bike of the Year in 2020, and, if I'm honest, it's still beats the new crop of high pivot bikes because it PEDALS!!! Includes Shimano BB, seat clamp and Boost 12mm rear axle. Boost spacing rear, 31.6mm seatpost w/ internal dropper capability. Compatible with tapered 140mm travel 29" fork. Designed for 29" wheels front and rear.

First Look: Norco's New Carbon Fluid
Let's ignore the water bottle comparison for a second and think about this: GX T-Type weighs 1262 grams. Same parts in XX SL weigh 1092 grams. So that 170 gram difference costs $1000. This is over three times that weight savings.

Results: Canadian Downhill National Championships 2023
Only people who race Nationals can win Nationals. That's sort of why races exist, no? Theorizing who is best while someone is "resting/training/hanging in Whistler" seems weird. If you show up to a race and win your category, you get the title. If you don't show up, you can't be "the best". That's how National titles work.

First Ride: SRAM's New GX Transmission
I'm betting most of these "I hate bikes with batteries" comments are being made on phones that the commenters take riding with them...

Video: William Robert Visits Norco & Rides the Shore in 'Le Voyageur Episode 1'
The "Shore" in the title implies the "North Shore" - as in "the place." He's riding a Sight Carbon and a Shore (The bike named after the place) in the video.
