Most of us have some sort of riding opportunity accessible from home; it may not always be the best riding, but a shortage of free time in the day and the ease of not having to load up a car sometimes makes a hometown ride the best option. Luca came to us with an idea to show just that. After we pre-rode his local loop we agreed it would make for a unique edit that many of us can relate to. Lucky for us, our friends over at Vigil Films were just as excited about the idea as we were and wanted to partner with us on this project. So we give you, Suburban Settings.
Lucky for us all the spots we filmed were only a short walk from where we parked. Contrary to most shoots we do where we're hiking several pounds of gear up and down the trail.
Vigil Films on the camera and microphone, Suspended Production on shade duty, and Luca Cometti kicking it sideways.
Bike friendly line, sorry skaters.
Actual mountain bike trails only took up a short amount of the edit. Shoot, review, repeat was the name of the game as we squeezed the last amount of golden light on Day 1 of shooting. Everyone was in good spirits throughout the days of shooting, no mechanicals, no crashes, and no broken camera's...success.
Enjoy and let us know what your local loop is.
