Crash of the year contest? Or is that just asking for stuntman staged yard sales trying to win...being the worst?

Ask Pinkbike: Knee Pad Suggestions, Tires for the Southwest & Do I Want a Singlespeed?
The good: SS makes every old trail new... you are hard AF just rolling up to the trailhead/groupride/Race...you’ll become a better rider...Under $50 if you want a new drivetrain (which you might never need)... 8% less drivetrain drag with perfect chain line and no boogie wheels/ freewheels....Proper off-road chain, not 10-11-12 speed noodle to thrash...stronger wheel without gear dish.. purest riding experience The bad: knees, Achilles, back, wrists will suffer as 99% hard tail/ rigid (Spec Epic Works I hear SS because no chain growth)...you will become obsessed with gearbox Bikes that the ss gives a low tech glimpse of (strong, quiet, no rear shitnest, etc.) ... rode ss for 4 years, no regrets.

Specialized Releases New Eliminator Tire
I’d slot them between Slaughter (SS) and Butcher (DHF), not hillbilly (shorty) and butcher (dhf). Hillbilly can be friendly...Hillbillys in ‘Deliverance’ for instance.

Specialized Hillbilly Grid Tire - Review
Ran these for a few seasons now (29er). Wet= good times. Most impressed by them on dry tracks breaking down and getting blown out. Super predictable and dependable traction in loose over hard. Wear is way better then Maxxis I have found. Vs. Butcher/dhf combo easier to engauge lean and grab shoulder lugs too I find. I keep waiting to feel the squirm too, as they should squirm, but it never comes...if I feel anything it is more of a ‘weight transfer’ in the tire side to side loading the lugs, but vice like hold once the lugs settle on target. Will be trying 2.6 in 19!

Race Report: 2018 Blue Cup Fall Edition - Blue Mountain, Ontario
Thanks to trail crew and organizers for a great track and event. Course was so fun and so sorted, ballsy to resurrect, and well executed... must have been a sale on fresh berms! Blue race organizers have a well oiled machine at this point, thanks gals!
