 Yes please!!!!!

Yeah Anna van der Breggen, that's impressive for someone relatively new to competitive mountainbiking. Already holding gold medals at the Olympics, Worlds and European championships on the road, it may be time to grab some gold in mountainbike racing too.

Aleix Espargaro MotoGP racer is in the top 30... that's really impressive.

Love the coverage. This shit is insane. Props to these animals.

Interestingly, this is actually less extensive coverage than last year. Possibly because it coincided with Crankworx Rotorua? Or maybe it just didn't get enough views last year for daily coverage. Regardless, this article is appreciated!

@neologisticzand: Ya, too much coverage on downhill bike reviews. No time to spare.

@neologisticzand: There were ~4 hours live streaming every day on Cape Epic's YouTube channel.

@bikeinbih: I was referring to PB's coverage of the Cape Epic, more so.

@neologisticzand: like how they covered the first three stages then decided they didnt want to cover it anymore?
  • 2 1
@neologisticzand: I understand, but if you are interested why would you limit yourself to PB only?

Looks like Langvad should switch to riding grand tours
  • 9 1
Why, because WC XC clearly isn’t working out?

@Scottybike36: when she has 30 min over #2 and 1 hour over #3 she obviously has the talent to be a killer GC rider. Sure, a lot of the top women didnt race this year, but she still is a powerhouse.

OK...so that accident at 49s on the Final video...Who (if anyone) would you say it at fault for the person coming up from behind crashing...?
  • 1 0
They ride as a team of two. The time of the slowest rider counts so they obviously stay close together and accept the inherent risk of doing so. As a team, I don't think they are (or should be) blaming each other for mishaps.

@vinay: AFIK those two were not on a team. The lady behind was in the top women's group adn the guy who fell in front a mid pack male rider. But yeah...IMO, trying to overtake someone in a technical (for XCM) section and them it going wrong because the person in front of you fell makes it the person at the back's fault.

yes, you're right it was a Team Silverback racer who came alongside a non-pro male rider. Both did a jump on the trail as there are jumps side-by-side, he lost it and she collided. was very silly of her to get so close. she's going much faster and should have just gone straight down the trail. Could have been much worse for both of them!

@jimxc: he lost it? She came on the inside of a slight turn and went straight when she should have turned left to complete the pass. 100% her fault.
  • 1 0
who tires to pass mid jump? the rider behinds fault 100 %

Any bike checks from these guys?
  • 1 0
and all along I thought she was Annika LangvaD, not LangvaL...
  • 1 0
Last year they asked her about the proper pronunciation of her name and she said it's LangvaL... I still call her LangvaD regardless... Smile
