As a Canadian, stoked to see Finn Isles inside the top 20 and Mark Wallace inside the top 10! As a grumpy old man, though, go Minaar!
  • 8 0
  • 4 0
@lastminutetech: D'oh! Wasn't even thinking about the Junior Men, but yeah, also awesome!
  • 15 1
Really disapointing seeing the conditions change soo much during the mans race
  • 2 1
Yeah, you really want to see them all race in the same conditions to see who rode the best for that track.
  • 11 0
Gutted Troy's dropped a fair bit in points id really like to see him take the overall his consistency through the years has been impeccable couldnt think of a better winner as much as daprela is bad ass he's got many many seasons left
  • 9 0
 Go Troy and Greg!
  • 7 0
Commencal associated with five separate teams. Heck of a way to advertise.
  • 1 0
Well they are also in position being a French brand that their national teams can compete on international euro events pretty conveniently. Winning bike gets them privateer teams buying frames too. Definitely killing it. By far my favorite dtc brand.
  • 2 0
Are they the most winning brand ever in elite DH? Gotta be up there. The other brands that spring to mind are Trek and Sunn, so I'd say Max Commencal is safely the most winning brand founder/owner ever..
  • 6 0
Just looked and Trek have the most wins from 2000 (when Commencal came into being) to 2021 with 38 vs Commencal with 36. I think there's a good chance it'll get tighter still as the season goes on.
  • 2 0
@bulletbassman: dude.. they are from Andorra... eventhough, yeah.. they feel almost french.
  • 5 0
@commental: so if you add all the wins with Sunn which was founded by Max Commencal too, he is the man who founded the most winning brands/bikes. Pretty insane how much he has the vision.

@danimaniac Max Commencal is French, at least half the staff there is French, pretty much all their official riders are French. Yes they are based in Andorra for tax reasons and riding convenience, less 30min away from France ... Maybe abroad they are seen as Andorran, but in France they are seen as French, especially if you know your Mtb history.

When you’re bummed out for Brendog and then you see he’s a point up on the Gwinner.
  • 2 0
I'm really wishing that if Gwin is running his own team, go back to YT bikes, nothing wrong with Intense but once an athlete thinks they can't win on something, which honestly, he did better his terrible first year with Specialized, go back to the bike that you dide great on, or hell, grab a session, use both! Just fucking start getting on the podium again man!
  • 1 0
He should be using the grim donut.
  • 2 0
The WC standings? Who cares about those, with that headline I expected the Fantasy standings! ;-)
  • 3 0
They should call it the French Cup. Complete domination these days.

Great to see Reece in 8th, despite that crash. Getting back on the bike and finishing as he did might do him some favours later on in the season.
  • 2 0
Phoebe and Jackson for course preview at Maribor please.
  • 1 0
Too bad for Cabirou. If we stop getting wet tracks Pompon might stop crashing.
  • 1 0
A french can hide another Smile
  • 5 5
Aaron looking solid in 30th. On his FB post seemed pretty content and says theres a few things to work on......
  • 3 0
He just has not been the same since he switched to intense.
  • 2 0
@cmoney23: I don't think it the brand. I think its him switching from 27.5. He looks awkward for some reason. On 29er even the 29er mullet looks oversized for him. I would like to seem him back on 27.5 front and rear.
  • 4 3
I’m quite sad that nobody talks about Gwin anymore Frown
  • 3 0
He kind of dropped of the face of the earth it seems. He went from a consistent top 5 finisher and now you rarely see him in the top 25.
  • 3 3
Hartenstern in front of Danny Hart - might reconsider Team hierarchy ;-)
  • 6 0
Hart qualified much better than Hartenstern at Les Gets, so I’m guessing he had his race run in much worse weather.

 @toooldtodieyoung: I know
