Interesting to see the difference between long stages and shorter ones, and see which riders excel in which (or both like Isabeau).

There is nothing from Ella yet, but the EWS has shared on social media that she is out after a crash in practice. We are hoping it's nothing serious but as soon as we know more we will share an update.

Any team release for Katy winton walking away from racing for now?
  • 2 0
I imagine as it appears to have been fairly last minute they're waiting to see what the score is for her more long term. Reading between the lines from videos and stuff it kind of seems like she isn't into that GT, or at least was happier on the Nukeproof.

I got the impression she might be moving to e-Ews. Definitely something going on there though, going from 9th last year while supporting herself, to mid 20s this year

On insta she said that changing every component brand was really difficult to adapt to. She acknowledged and thanked all the work fox and the gt team put in. She was also unable to hold her new ideal race position on the bike.
Plenty of riders performance decreases when moving teams. Brook to gt (prob kinematics)
Jack Moir to intense (prob tyres, kinematics and pos frame size)
Danny Hart to Madison (prob frame size as matt walker won the overall on it)
These riders have all increased performance when moving again
