After getting up to speed on the updated steep and technical course in Val di Sole, riders are now between the tape for their first chance to measure themselves against the clock. Qualifying could be a good indicator of who is looking fast this week, or will some riders be holding something back for race day?
Check out the full results below.
Results from qualifying today do not decide the start order for Sunday's World Champs race, instead, riders will start in UCI order on finals day.Live timing can be found

It was a save a one point, but he didn't ride away.
A clean run and he'll be in with a great chance to hold onto them.
Two especially, Lucas Lagneau and Hugo Marini, who are super fast. They already do better time than the juniors in French cups. Marini put 5 secondes to the best juniors at nationals champs a couple of weeks ago.. brutal
*Holy Red Velvet Cupcakes is a BMX track announcer type phrase I stole from Tory Nyhaug
"For all DHI events (Men Elite, Women Elite, Men Juniors and Women Juniors), riders are
required to ride in the qualifying round. The number of riders qualifying for the final are as
follows:
- Men Elite: top 80 riders in the qualifying round
- Women Elite: top 40 riders in the qualifying round
- Men Juniors: top 60 riders in the qualifying round
- Women Juniors: top 15 riders in the qualifying round
For the final in the Men Elite and Women Elite, the “protected riders” are: Riders ranked in
the top 10 Women Elite and the top 20 Men Elite of the latest world cup standings of the
current season.
Even “protected riders” must start in the qualifying round in order to be entitled to ride the
final."
It will only be a restriction for men elite as totalt number of entries are lower for all the other categories.
If this means that Seagrave which DNF'ed qualiyfing is out of the final or if it counts as a run, I don't know. edit: it says "start" in the qualifying, so I guess she's in.
Last year by setting the Opera's embedded vpn on "Europe" I could watch it but it doesn't work anymore :-/
Any tips?

However, what always confuses me is some countries are only bothered about road/track - and won't show the MTB Worlds live, and geoblock Red Bull TV in that country. Why?
but it was on my android TV
To answer your question, when I was 19 I wasn't acting like I was 5. She is a professional athlete. She should act like one. Not like a spoiled brat. I hope she can get a handle on it because she is the next superstar/future of women's DH. With her age she is an inspiration/idol for many young women/girls across the globe and she can do a lot to move the sport in to the next gen
First of all I thought "Her Hölliness" was a cool nickname, nothing more or less. The interview part was just a little tongue in cheek after the "drama" in Maribor. Just as Wyn Masters did in the post race interviews where he kinda exposed her a bit.
Not too long ago I already posted about the amount of pressure and expectations that she was burdend with when she entered the elites. It was as if becoming WC in her first year in the elites was nothing more then a formality.
That being said, there is nothing comfortable about being a world class athlete. Being on top in any sport brings great benefits, but also tremendous pressure. Not everybody can handle this, therefor not everybody is cut out to do this. Hence why we look up to those people. Acting like a diva or a**hole doesn't win many hearts and doesn't rub off well with sponsors. Being a likeable person goes a looong way and can carry on long after the heydays of your career. To summerise; don't be a douche.
Now, let's all hope everybody get's down in one piece tomorrow and may the best man/woman take the stripes home!
