And this is why you just do whatever the f*ck you want as an event organizer and stop worrying so much. Let's just be blessed there is stuff like Loosefest where you get a lot of footage, Darkfest where you get a lot of clips and behind the scenes stuff, and then some smaller fest sessions stuff where they put a lot of effort into one smaller high quality edit.

Cringe press releases or not, it's still painfully obvious this is a sick fest event. Turning up your nose and saying 'theyre not fest anymore' isn't going to stop people from seeing it as clearly a part of the fest mentality and fest media rounds. Couldn't just live and let live knowing somebody did something a little different. MTBers be like 'lets enjoy riding bikes', fest guys be like 'but not like that...'

Hey @lepigpen I believe you misunderstood. There was a lot of irony involved due to last years statement of the core festcrew. I think everyones stoked with Darkfest.

Though we enjoy our 'darkfest not core enough' memes on here, there are still those who think the Fest Series did some kind of noble act by splitting with them. And we call those dudes... Cringe

Fest series overall are known for their limited coverage. Sam does a great job covering the whole thing on his YouTube Chanel!

All the coverage is on Sam Reynolds' Youtube.The competition is a side note. The big edit that will come out in the next few weeks is the main event.

They usually do an 8+ minute highlight video every year. These events never have much coverage other than a few instagram posts till the video comes out, relax.

So much prefer the way the fest series just put out an edit rather than bombard social media with insta clips every moment . Not taking anything away from amazing riders at a RAD event but can see why they parted ways. So many insta posts it almost boring

All the fest events have loads of insta clips. Most of them solely are covered in insta other than the highlight video.

Fest guys got mad about YouTube and inviting people like kade who have big followings of their own and is very much not a part of the freeride scene despite his freeride prowess. I completely disagree cause watching kade or the girls this year is fun and I much rather watch the extra bits that get put out on YouTube then clicking thru everyone’s stories and posts.

It would be pretty funny is the fest guys were still teenagers but it’s just f*cking petty for a grown adult to care so much about this stuff.
