What? No Canadian elite women team?
  • 8 0
Exactly my thought. Who is Allan racing with?
  • 3 0
Right? They are the most awesomest! Hopefully this is a fluke.
  • 7 3
Does anyone know how selection is based? Canada's got a stacked team - but I'm surprised for the men's side, Jack Menzies isn't there. He's been putting down the results!

 @jaydubmah:

Athletes are offered spots based on Global Rankings and if someone declines they move down the list to build rosters.
  • 2 0
@adrenalineracer: Thanks for explaining this - I checked the results and Menzies was 4th highest ranked CDN , so he must have declined. Cool to see Evan Wall right up there too!

On IG Miranda Miller said she was offered a spot and declined, so maybe just not enough interest? Huge bummer though!
  • 1 0
 Yeah, too bad!!

France vs Britain in womens should be pretty competitive. For men..? New Zealand and Canada look pretty strong.
  • 2 0
Les French filles are my faves to take it, but that's the strongest ever GB team for sure.
  • 7 0
No NZ womens' team. It's a shame about Rae Frown
  • 2 0
@trailhound2: who else would NZ have that can fly all the way to Italy haha
  • 1 0
@kcy4130 my thoughts exactly.. could go either way for each team. Although I want CAD to win mens, I’d love to see another Ed/wyn TV.

Team Spain listed alphabetically between Denmark and Finland because, as we all know, the 'E' is both silent and invisible.
  • 7 2
 It's Espana in Spanish...
  • 6 0
@gally-nh: Yes, I am a fellow idiot American, but I am aware that it is Espana in Spanish.

It's also Suomi in Finnish, and it's Deutschland in German, and...

So they're inconsistent and out of order no matter which way you slice it.

And now this joke has been overanalyzed to death. Wasn't that fun?

No Chilean Team, Flo got robbed! We’ll take you as an honorary citizen Flo!
  • 7 0
I think the kiwi's take it.

FWT rider in reserve, looking strong.
  • 6 0
 Team Andorra needs Cedric Gracia
  • 3 0
Then France deserves Fabien Barel and Nico Vouilloz. I wouldn't be surprised if they'd put a good few others to shame. That said, Karim Amour is a good one. I admit I don't know much about the competing Andorran riders.

French Women Elite team looks fierce
  • 4 0
This sport is still becoming smaller than when it started
  • 1 0
 Qué pasaría con team Chile?
  • 1 0
@sebaiker: no federation and a "world series" what is mostly done in europe makes hard for the southamerican to go there. That's why Flo is making it work now, she moved to Canada
  • 4 0
That there even is a team Iceland is amazing all in itself.
  • 3 0
 Canadian... No woman, no cry
  • 3 0
Mads, Nikolaj og Glenn giv den max gas.

Ladies French and British teams are stacked! U21 USA male #1 is supposed to be Jack Brown I believe.
  • 2 0
Wow French and British Women’s team are totally stacked.
  • 2 0
I guess not enough 35+ladies racing to make a race category?
  • 2 0
 Ayyyyyyeeee let's go Canfield!!!
  • 2 0
Under 21 men Australia vs Canada that’s going to be epic
  • 4 1
 No Sam Hill?

No Masters category at the Trophy of Nations
  • 3 3
@mi-bike: Dude, you can enter Elite category being a Master if you want to. Or was is sarcasm?
  • 8 1
@mi-bike: Sure there is. 12 Countries have a team for the Master Men category.
  • 3 0
@lkubica: No sarcasm. Just a little cheeky comment.
  • 3 0
Sven Martin shared the rumour that he's going back to DH next year, so he may have checked out of enduro already.
  • 3 3
something really wrong with Jesse Melamed bike position, so many photos with bike slightly leaned over and front wheel off the ground.

 Team Vanzacs FTW

 Joe Lawwill's evil twin.
  • 1 1
 What ?? no Team America…

"Check out whole will be racing below"
So many mistakes in so many articles, come on... Hire me as a proofreader if need be !
  • 31 2
Well, you've used an ellipses improperly and you've added a space before the exclamation mark. I regret to inform you, you didn't get the job.
  • 11 1
 @rrolly: an ellipsis*
  • 17 0
 @mi-bike: Well, I obviously didn't get the job either. . . Wink
  • 2 0
@rrolly: well yeah, as you probably guessed I wasn't actually serious about that. I don't even know what an ellipsis is!

On a more serious note : a space before an exclamation point doesn't make understanding the content difficult. "Check out whole will be racing" on the other hand...

 Go Brooks!
  • 2 0
 Thanks Alex!
  • 2 2
Hate to be Rude but basically team Canada vs team NZ

 Team Jacob FTW!
  • 1 3
 Didn't see Pierron
  • 7 0
Ahh.. EWS. Still early in the morning

Wishful thinking. The Covid Crankworks in BC was pretty cool, it had a variety of racers competing in different disciplines. Finn was crushing the enduro races
