 LOL its just timed training you nuts.
  • 27 3
 Connor placed 2nd the year Gwin won with the chainless lap. He definitely has speed in Leogang.
  • 1 1
 @Henrito: I believe it's a stock bike... insane either way.
  • 2 4
 @shredddr: well its not stock as it has a triple crown fork on it. But I think it also has a different linkage doesnt it?
  • 12 0
 @paulskibum: wow! Three crowns? ...definitely not stock!
  • 4 0
 @paulskibum: damn! A triple crown? That’s crazy!
  • 5 0
 @Henrito: aren't Enduro bikes bigger than downhill bikes now
  • 3 0
 @paulskibum: stock linkage.

 I'm excited that Gwin is less than 2 seconds off Pierron in the first 3 splits before he reigned it in and pulled off track. That's no small feat in these conditions with the amount of adversity he's gone through. And if Fearon is still on that crappy Enduro frame instead of Forbidden letting him race ANYONE's full DH frame with some Forbidden stickers on it....that's just so messed up. They're doing him wrong. I don't care if they don't have the resouces. Someone's got a DH frame he could run.
  • 13 0
 @blowmyfuse:
Thats a Intense way to look at it.
  • 2 0
 @paulskibum: you're right - last round it didn't, but bike check on their IG page says it is a custom link.
  • 3 0
 @blowmyfuse: what's the adversity in question?
  • 18 1
 @mi-bike: Father Time, religious persecution, and France.
  • 2 3
 @owl-X: I realise triple crown isnt innovative in DH racing but its not fitted to their standard enduro bike right?

and @podderz I stand corrected on the linkage - was dredging up old memories from Ft Bill coverage in my dog eared old brain

 @blowmyfuse: 100%. Everyone’s impressed with him doing good on an enduro bike? I see it as a disservice leaving him stuck on a shit bike. He should easily be top 3 if he was on a proper DH bike. I feel bad for him.
  • 2 1
 Congrats on solid wins Vali and Amaury!!!
  • 2 0
 @paulskibum: I know what you meant--triple clamp--another term for a dual crown since it clamps at three places counting the axle.
  • 1 0
 @notenduro: AKA Triple-Tree by 60's bikers
  • 1 0
 @awitt: by a fraction of a second iirc
  • 3 1
 @stubs179: their DH frame will be out soon. It's possible it had just been delayed a bit in which case they would prefer him to be on their frame prior to it arriving. Either way if he wasn't happy with what they were offering I doubt he'd have dropped his long term sponsor to go to them.
  • 2 1
 @paulskibum: the Triple Crown is particularly popular in Slopestyle, often among riders with a BMX background. In DH and Enduro, not so much.
  • 2 0
 @mi-bike: don’t forget surfing and horse racing, they sometimes use it.
  • 1 0
 @shredddr: bike on there insta is for there enduro racer Rhys Verner. Connor is still on standard link believe the custom link only works on a size large as not enough clearance on a medium (which is what Connor rides)
  • 2 2
 @suspended-flesh: Hahaha, please do tell us more about how someone "wins" practice where by definition no one is racing for points or any other advantage?

I feel like 95% of PB members have no clue what "practice" means.
  • 2 0
 @scott-townes: Don't mess with tradition.
  • 2 2
 @suspended-flesh: How do you win a practice?
  • 2 0
 @scott-townes: By Training down the hill fastest - are you daft?
  • 1 2
 @suspended-flesh: LOL that's the dumbest thing I've read in a while. I bet you hand out awards at soccer practice, huh?
  • 1 0
 @scott-townes: Of course not! Please re-read the title of this article.

 Nice to see Finn back and riding!
  • 1 0
 @Brent-F Indeed. I just wonder which Finn will show up to the race. Race within his limits Finn or Ride it like ya' stole it Finn? We all know the usual outcome of each. I hope the former shows up. I'd really like to see him win one.
  • 1 0
 @Augustus-G: Schladming laps on the Bernard Kerr channel lead me to believe he's feeling the latter
  • 1 0
 @thingswelike: Well, when he rides it like he stole it he all too often ends up horizontal on the track.
Not what I'd like to see.
  • 14 0
 Can we have a fantasy league based solely on TT?
  • 2 0
 @blanshard16 I could finally afford a couple winners!
  • 13 0
 Stoked to see Finn is back and on the speed!! Finn fir the win!!

 For what ever reason - Conner just loves Leogang!
  • 1 1
 Loving the conditions really spreading out the times margins! Unrecognisable from the old leogang times! Pierron made hella sense out of that!
  • 1 0
 so Cathro remarks about the peanut butter “ grip” conditions that you just have to trust it…word!

  • 1 0

  • 1 0
 I think there were three at the start of the race…
