 NJ we pronounce as a one letter (its also in alphabet), the sound of that leter is same as italian for GN together, for example Bologna.We also have LJ that read also as one letter and pronounce is as italian for GL, for example quadrifoglio.

 Chest mounted GoPro looks a lot rougher than a helmet mounted camera. Just need to do the mic well on the helmet mount to get decent audio.

 Not a huge fan of this venue, the tarmac at the end isn't very fitting for a DH track.

 Losinj isn't very high and I understand why they wanted to have a finish line by the sea. If you count in how nonexistent is DH on Croatian islands, I think the guys made something unbelievable.

I'm just wondering why they didn't go with island Cres (just next to Losinj island). It would be much easier to build a proper DH track there

 Way better than the bermarama on the new vallnord track. They try to use every hm while vallnord has plenty and wastes it. The Worldcup there was gnarly.

People have fields, so it would be hard to build one, and not to got through someones property.

 @pakleni: Its organized by Slovenian club "MTB Trbovlje" so not really local... Still closer than Brač thats for sure Big Grin There will be a national DH race in Split this year though

 I actually quite like it as a spectator. You get to see more of the track and offers with the tarmac a nice change of surface and needed skills. Similar to Rallye Monte Carlo with tarmac and snow... If i think of tracks like e.g. typical Leogang it's not quite like this. Although the new woods were a great addition.
