Ric McLaughlin follows Henrique Avancini around the already controversial XC course which has seen many of the more technical sections smoothed out or removed entirely.
That course is simply an embarrassment to bike racing. The average 8yr old from any ski/bike town in BC would ride that course on their way to school and think nothing of it.
Naaahhh, if you look at the youtube from @number44, the roadie didn't really feel comfortable braking on the gravel. Van Der Poel and clan should bring their cyclocross bikes and show hos smooth this track is....
@MMOF: seriously, there is no reason to not be on a hardtail for this course. I had been getting excited for watching the XC races and this course really puts a damper on that. I can see a hardtail with a dropper winning this race.
Probably physical and reflects a v sad truth about german mtb. Gravel road riding it is. It is still illegal in this prt of Germany to ride trails below 2m of width. This is proper German????????✈️rules.
This is Germany, mountain biking still not accepted, moreover seen as an attack on nature, and the track is probably what is allowed within the law. A country that does not want to move forward....most likely no mobile coverage in the forrest either!
How long till the next DH race?
