bigquotesRAW action from practice day in Finale Outdoor Region ahead of the UCI Mountain Bike Enduro World Cup. 56km, six stages, and 2070m of climbing lie ahead of the riders this Saturday!

The Pietra Ligure trails are dry, loose and flat out, leading to some very spicing and unforgiving conditions that will test the best of the best. It's all to play for, but only one rider can come out on top. Who will take the win in Italy?

Great spot! If you are in the Finale area and want something less crowded and more natural go to Molini and check out Luca and Silvia aTipico! Really cool guys and wonderful trails!

Even people who ride ebikes don't care about the ebike race results.

TBH - for the average racer/rider guy that sometimes does ok, these are great videos to see how people ride on the edges of trails and find brake points etc.

Gotta wonder if scandi flicks are faster. They look sick but are they really faster? I remember Mythbusters did a driving test of using scandi flicks on a short closed, dirt, twisty course and found just driving smooth through the turns was faster. Not as cool looking but faster. Just wondering. Scandi flicks are fun as hell though.

That Mythbusters test is interesting. Measuring what is 'faster' for racing is so complex though. While something might be marginally slower on the clock, it can give a rider a feeling of confidence and flow, which ultimately results in a faster time at the end of the run. When Josh Bryceland was on a tear in WC DH, he talked about how he'd always look for a jump to throw a whip off because it helped him get into a 'flow' mindset. Sure, it was a bit slower through that short section, but it helped him avoid riding tight and push too hard for the remainder of the run. Obviously there is a balance there and its not going to be the same for everyone, but that is part of what makes racing so exciting. There is so many different ways you can achieve speed, not one formula that can be applied across the board.

Awesome place to ride... huge climbs and great trails connecting with finale!

It’s a trail ride, the Stumpy is a good choice for weight, esp set up for aggressive riding.
