I think I might be a sports fan.

Interesting to hear the thoughts as they check out the track, but the camera wipping all over the place is enough to make you dizzy.

Careful what you say, the PB social media elite love the jerk style as it makes them feel as if they're immersed in the video. Personally I think they should all get Apple goggles.

Using a gopro and its wide lens adds to the nauseating experience.

@casey79: The nauseating experience of a BK video?

@casey79: that´s what happens when riders/tubers has to do the job instead of the media...

@krystianj: I thought it was his personality that made his videos nauseating.

@krystianj: ..ehhh... Bernard has brought alot of visual insight over the years to the sport. Good for him.

@st-alfie: Sure Bernard gets frustrated from time to time, but I cant blame him, the sport is high risk, low reward.

I've always enjoyed watching his LSDs.

I like Bernie. As a track walk that is usually intended to provide perspective, that pretty much sucked.

@eebz: yeah.....that's not why I view him the way I do. He appears to be extremely narcissistic and arrogant, and generally just seems like a bit of a dick.

High risk, yeah. Low reward, nah. He appears to be doing pretty well financially out of this two wheeled hobby.

Sounds like they shortened the big jump at the end by ~30ft.
Makes you wonder how short Dave McMillan came up :/

Thought the same thing. Comparing BK's two videos, it looks like they moved the lip way forward.

Sounds like they shortened by 25 feet. In David’s Ig post he said he came up short on the 100 footer. In the Pinkbike story about the course details it’s said that the largest gap is 75 feet.

Just saw part of Eddie’s video. BK says David went 10’ short and they shortened it by 30’.

 Dang. Got me

Nice to see someone clear that massive gap after that crash. V

Interesting to see traditional smoking ceremonies happen at the top of tracks elsewhere in the world, they're definitely popular at my local DH spot.

I will take BK’s FREE content over Discovery anyday.

Copied from James May in top gear about 10years ago. Nothing is new just re-used.

Are lady's competing in this event..?
  • 9 0
List of invited ladies posted in december includes

Tahnee Seagrave (UK)
Louise Anna Ferguson (UK)
Cami Nogueira (ARG)
Hannah Bergemann (US)

But there is also Gracey Hemstreet in the video so there might be more

@winko: Gracey and Harriet Burbidge-Smith are doing just the Aus event. The other 4 are going to both events. I think the Wildcards for UK are Tba

BK "This is a lads trip" while Louise Ferguson walks along a few steps behind him.
