His line is way more polished than almost everyone else, and still looks very loose with super-soft jumps. I think like the dig crews bit off a lot this year; I hope everyone gets finished for tomorrow!
Worried about wind, weather report looks ominous with crazy wind expected Saturday. Hopefully it holds off just long enough after all the work these athletes and diggers have put in.
@yoimaninja: ah, I see how my post read - basically a huge storm in the middle of the country will start affecting Virgin Friday afternoon, turning into 40+ mph winds Saturday... so, makes me worried the wind is going to ruin everyone's fun. Trying to stay positive though!
I have watched rampage since it first began and now it just feels like an oversized slopestyle event. Let's go back to the old days where they had just enough time to dig a line that was almost ridable and then relied on massive bike handling skill and cojones to make it ridable. If you want double backflip tail whips, that's what crankworx is for. #freeridingisdead #longlivefreeriding
I'm probably getting downvoted to oblivion, but I don't care.
I have watched Rampage since it first began, have been there in person for 9 of them, walked the course to the top for two of the venues and I have to say people like you are idiots. Its nothing like a slopestyle course, there are literally life-or-death consequences if they mess up. In 2004 it rained and they smoothed everything out. I guess they should have waited until everything dried out before having the event according to your logic or lack of logic I should write.
I'd rather go by the opinions of those who actually created Rampage, created the discipline of freeriding and those who have spent their lives progressing the sport. The only thing dead here is your brain. LOL you care about downvotes. Hilarious.
