by Ed Spratt

bigquotesX Games is proud to present Christian Rigal's latest MTB project 'High Vis' supported by adidas Five Ten. Taking inspiration from snowboarding, skateboarding and BMX, Christian hit the streets with his build crew shaping up unique MTB spots all over California — pushing the limits of what's possible on his enduro bike! With high vis vests to look the part, a truck load of dirt, and some well-scouted locations, they were able to pull off a dream project without anyone thinking twice before they tore everything down and moved onto the next location. Watch, enjoy and let us know which clip was your favorite from Christian's latest MTB part?

** No spots were harmed in the making and all were returned back to original **

Film: Russell Houghten
Build: Shire Built

The disclaimer at the end that no spots were damaged is really really cool. Way to balance keeping it rad with being responsible and not destroying spots for others.

@theredbike: We needed every inch of dirt, all the san bags, and everything we brought with us for the next spot, was easy to clean up and move on! and MTB's are much less destructive them Bmx Go check em out if you'd like haha

Digging the clear snowboard influence in this. Makes sense given that mtb to BMX feels like snowboard to skateboard. I always liked the way snowboards utilized sculpted snow to create fresh lines in urban settings. This seems like it’s the same concept. Loving the three transfer line and the tire slide! I was half expecting a crank slide in there somewhere given how much I know you love a good grind @ChristianRigal

So you're telling me my SJ Evo can do THAT?

Awesome stuff,props to everyone involved.

as a long time freestyle skier, mtb like this always made sense. Jibby urban riding is so fun. just a little more nerve wracking on a few k mtb than a beater street bike! What if one of these off teir brands made a groupset made for this kind of riding and carved out a little niche? cassettes with a freecoaster gear, deraileurs made to roll backwards, trials style unidirectional brake rotors, cranksets with UHMW grind plate options and so on, still usable as a mtb with propper gear range but just made to not self destruct rolling backwards.

edit was awesome, that drop to slide and round berm and wall rides were top notch!

That slide gap was siiick. Best wallrides I've seen in a while.
