What an ending to the Women's XCC! And way to go Kate Courtney P5!! What an amazing women's field.

Full gas from the outset! Great race! Good to see Courtney back in the hunt, where she belongs.

I'm honestly shocked at how long Alan held that pace. Crazy good race.
  • 4 0
That was insane. Crazy fast pace for so so long.

Congrats to Alessandra Keller!!! Well deserved.

PFP is on great form but what a ride from Kate! Next season could be great!!

PFP is definitely On-the-Peek right now. Her form is the best I've seen it since at least '18.
As a side note, she also has seemed to be in a lot better place mentally/emotionally this entire season.

@Augustus-G: it's been great to watch

@Augustus-G: In great form, and the season is ending....I wonder if she's entering the XC Marathon Worlds next weekend?
  • 2 0
@Augustus-G: totally agree! While insta is obviously not a great way to gauge a persons mental state, the way she reached out to Lecomte recently seemed very genuine and coming from a person who is in a good place.

@RogerMexico: PFP literally out positioned LL in that last turn and won by a wheel.
To be followed by another great sprint with JN & AK.
Big Congrats to Alessandra taking the 1st WC XCC Championship. What a great season it's been.

Still haven't gotten to the Men's race yet.....

Jolanda has her afterburner start legs back (check her ig for a cool clip)... and once again flowed over the whoops and pump sections unlike any other female or male rider.

Looks like Nino is back on the Silverton SL's again, recently he'd been running the conventional spoked ones. Got the updated SID this week too (like PFP and Kate showed up with last week). Still likes that mechanical dropper.

Lolo said it was the first sprint finish of her career. That was well executed and brave, she had the elbow ready too. Her skills are so smooth subtle and continuously impressive.

Martina Berta is gonna podium or win something before too long.

And it's so cool to see Keller up front every single race now... and winning the XCC overall. She had 2 tough years.

very good observations, agree with each of them

That last lap of the women's race was SO GOOD.
  • 8 0
So glad Rob and Bart kept us up-to-date on Mona Mitterwallner back in 35th position, as usual on both accounts.

 Congrats to Kate!

If Nino the Machine-o is this far up in the short track he's going to put the hurt on the field on Sunday.

Keller has had a great year. With this finish, she's a real contender for the XCO World Championship crown on Sunday!
  • 7 0
I'll be cheering for her. She has been so consistent all year. And without the fanfare of other riders.
  • 6 0
@MDW83: I think exactly the same. Went out of my way to meet her at Snowshoe and let her know how much my family and I have appreciated her grit.
  • 4 0
poor Anne Terpstra though. Had such a consistent season, hope she can put up a challenge on Sunday
  • 4 0
PFP is unstoppable right now. Perfectly played out once again.
  • 2 0
 Men's Race = Ludicrous Speed!
Carod rode a beautiful Stalking Tiger race.
Congrats to Alan taking the XCC overall.
  • 3 1
Mathias! Oh wait never mind - too soon.
  • 1 2
So far this calendar year Pidcock has ridden seven cyclocross races, forty days on the road and six mountain bike races
  • 4 0
@Wyndbrook: huh? I’m a fan of Pidcock but this was a subtle jab at Fluckiger.
  • 1 0
No Sam Gaze, the new World Champ?
  • 7 0
I guess he decided not to race with a broken collar bone. Too bad he crashed so badly.
  • 1 0
He crashed in the XCO race last week
  • 3 1
@MarkJ70: I hear that if it was only a broken collar bone he would have raced, but with the broken ribs he decided that he'd let someone else have a shot at winning
  • 1 0
About that 2nd place for the ladies...
  • 2 2
Neff indicated on Instagram she was actually third
  • 3 0
Third in the overall XCC series points. Being the last round, they held the ceremony for that today.
