@mrkkbb: love NICA where we are, but wondering if the rules regarding trail features is too calm for some of the more prevalent MTB states. I.e no jumps, drops, keep both wheels on ground, etc
I was surprised how many American women were in the XCC and I guess this explains it - looks like a ton of Europeans didn’t consider the trip across the pond worth it. I can’t blame them. A 6+ hour flight followed by a 3-4 hour drive to the venue from the airport. I realize an east coast venue makes the most sense for a mostly European based sport, but I feel like there’s got to be a more convenient east coast venue than Snowshoe. I wish so badly they’d bring back Colorado World Cups but that’s an even bigger ask travel wise
@BespokeTrailMix: I'd love to see it go even further, all the way to the west coast. My sympathy for the Euros having to travel is limited given how much of the season they get to spend in their own beds. Otherwise, screw it, just call it the "Western European Cup."

I hope Christopher Blevins and Richie Rude inspire more USA men to show up.
Disappointing depth of field in the women
