“Trailblazer Series” brought to you by
Goodlife Fitness. With

“Vedder Mountain Classic” and
“Sumas Smack Down”, as well as a
BC Enduro Series stop, things are shaping up to be a pretty unreal set of events come this Spring. The races will follow a
“TeXC” format. What’s “TeXC” you ask? It’s sort of a hybrid between the two disciplines, it gives an opportunity for XC riders to compete in the same race with Enduro riders. You can choose to race the full course, or ride the full course and race the timed descents. Don’t miss out, register today!!
Register HereWe also have a NOBL wheels prize set up for grabs. Register for the full race series and have a chance to a set of carbon rims from NOBL wheels.

From beautiful flowing climbs, to steep, technical, loam covered descents, to fast old favorites this course has you covered. The “TeXC” format will feature roughly a 30 km course with over 1600+ meters of climbing, and within this course there will be 2 timed descents. There are podiums for the fastest overall course completion, as well as the fastest person down the mountain. In addition we are offering a
“King of the Mountain” and
“Queen of the Mountain” prize of
$50 cash for the first guy and gal to the top, but you will have to grab your cash and hold onto it while you continue crushing the rest of the Vedder Classic course.
We are also offering a
"Short Course" which will be around 12-15 km of single track awesomeness, and one timed decent. This will be for guy or gal that is looking to get into the race scene without the full commitment.
Lunch will be provided by a local food truck known as the “Suburban Spoon”, and “Old Yale Brewing” will be out serving up some refreshments following the ride, this is included with your entry. Sit back, reminisce about the race, enjoy some awesome eats, sip back your favorite barley beverage, and take in the views of beautiful Cultus Lake, it doesn’t get any better than that.
Apres the Ride- May 14thKlunker RideFollowing the big race, there will a retro
“Klunker” Ride happening up on Vedder Mountain. Riders are encouraged to dig out their old Proflex, or Bush Pilot and come up for a casual/not so casual ride up and down “Sunnyside Up”.
After PartyWe have secured an exclusive after party for racers following the
“Vedder Mountain Classic”, we have been given free reign at a local pub in Cultus Lake known as the
“Lakeside Beach Club”, doors to open at 7:30 pm. We will be selling entries that will get you a burger and a beer, we will have more details as things develop. This is an exclusive after party there are only 160 tickets available, we will be hosting a film festival in conjunction with this social event, it is sure to become the party of the year, so don’t miss out!
BC Enduro SeriesThe BC Enduro Series makes its way into the Valley the Next day, there will be some completely blind stages, and even more surprises for riders come race day.
With 3 big stages (maybe more), with the final stage taking the fastest racers about 12-15 minutes to complete (20+ minutes for us mortals), this definitely going to be one heck of race. Riders will be paying for all that fun with about 1900 m of climbing.
This one will fill up fast so get over there and secure your spot!
Racers will also be treated to some awesome eats courtesy of the
“Suburban Spoon” and bevies courtesy of “Old Yale Brewing”.

Race DayWith 30 km (give or take) of premium single track trail, this race is certainly one to add to your race calendar this year. The race will follow a “TeXC” format, where riders will be challenged by demanding technical trails, big climbs, steeps, and long descents.
The race will feature an overall full course timed podium, plus several timed descents within the race. Combined, these timed descents will form a separate podium. Racers will have a chance to battle it out for positions on two podiums, for a crack at the prize money.
