Sun and hot where the keywords in Cadafaz, Portugal, for the 4th race of the Portugal Enduro Series. Even with the intelligent decision to start the race at 8am, riders found themselves struggling to finish the race around 2pm with temperatures rising to almost 40 Celcius (104 F for some). Some riders didn't even finish, a lot of DNF's, from 148 riders just 88 finished. For the ones that made it to the end, it was a real battle with the sun. The girls and the juniors, big applause for them, doing the same race course and finishing all stages almost at 3pm. To add up, the terrain was loose and dusty, it was hard to follow other riders in the middle of the trail.

Teams podium is really important in Portugal to be the winner club at the end of the season as that means the club can opt for some help from local government for their riders
