You're welcome! Go old school Rocky and get a log, cinder blocks, etc., anything you can safely lift and allows you to create and maintain perfect form, but not anything that will do the opposite. Try craigslist for inexpensive equipment as an option too.

I have online training solutions for that, but you would simply modify where the bar starts from. Find a rack that you can adjust and make your starting height higher. Then as you become more flexible and stable, you can incrementally lower the starting bar height. Oh, and get a stand up work station :)

Oh tough question I'm not sure I can answer as I'd have to make numerous observations first. Things like DNA, athletic or sports background, injury history, yada yada, would all be things I'd consider before I making a judgement call. Otherwise use the off season to prepare the body the best you can to perform skills and riding better in the spring and summer. The gym is a great place to work on that stuff and all your imbalances, weaknesses etc., and you can't do that by just riding your bike. BTW- most 'regular' riders have enough lungs but suffer from not having a well-balanced athletic body, so get that gym work in more now and taper it down as you head into riding season.

Thank you and good question! No, I don't think you should do them, particularly since a CF person does it! She'll pay for it in a few years, no doubt. I suggest perfecting your body weight exercises, working on your hip and T-spine mobility and deep abdominal and glute strength in a DH position. You should also learn how to properly learn how to pick things off the floor which requires sometimes a simlar move to a deadlift, but RDL's I would rather teach you how to do a proper hip hinge, but weighting it is unnecessary.
