Bike Check: Joe Nation's Pole Stamina
I agree. I assume the machine is definitely heavier than my SC Nomad. But the 7075 aluminum is going to be way tougher than carbon for crash impacts. I'm guessing it is a stupidly fast bike downhill and is a perfect bike for fast riders who ride on the edge and crash every once in a while. Weight weenies and people who care about their uphill Strava times will hate this bike. It's a revolutionary bike that will be extremely polarizing.

Industry Weighs in on the Latest Round of US Tariffs on Chinese Mountain Bike Imports
Americans complain about jobs not being created in USA and global warming, then they go to Amazon or Wallmart and buy cheap Chinese products built in polluting factories which will ultimately end up in a landfill in a few years due to poor quality. I am happy for some kind of tariffs against China. Let's buy and build great products in the USA again!! I am ok with paying higher prices for US quality made products

American Tariffs on Chinese-Made Goods Threaten to Increase Prices for the US Bike Industry
Good!! China has terrible environmental regulations. They make poor quality products. And have inferior worker conditions. About time the bike industry got a kick in the butt! Every bike company should be switching to direct to consumer and make their products in USA or Europe!

Neko Mulally's YT Tues - Bike Check

Finished: Santa Cruz Bicycles Ask Us Anything
Will Santa Cruz eventually make bikes with woven carbon on the outside and unidirectional carbon on the inside of the frames. Isnt that layup much better for impact resistance? I think you should create an ultra high end low production model with this layup. Have it be your Halo model for R&D like car companies do with F1

Good Ideas Executed Poorly - Opinion
Agreed! If the exact same bike came in pressfit or threaded which would you choose? I guess 99% of people who work on their own bikes would choose threaded. Bike companies chose manufacturing simplicity over customer value
